Barwick in Elmet CC are pleased to confirm the successful completion of a new solar installation at the club. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund the installation was designed, project manged and installed by Next Energy.

For the club it represents another step in reducing our environmental footprint This 12.35kw system comprises of 26 solar panels supported by a 11.5Kw battery enabling the club to retain its energy for use even when the sun stops shining. We will also be selling any excess energy production back into the grid.

These cost savings will be directly fed back into the club for the 2027 season, ensuring a more sustainable future for the club.
